近日，肥东一中学子在2022至2023学年全国中学生地球科学奥林匹克竞赛（安徽省赛区）预赛中，获得安徽省一等奖2名，省二等奖6名，省三等奖1名的好成绩，王丛芹、朱其勇两位教师获得“优秀指导教师”荣誉。

全国中学生地球科学奥林匹克竞赛是由中国科学技术协会主管，中国地震学会、中国地球物理学会、中国灾害防御协会主办。本次预赛吸引了全国近4万名中学生报名参与，涉及31个省市自治区、800余所中学。竞赛内容涵盖自然与人文地理科学，侧重地理学科获取信息、解读信息、处理信息的基本技能，对学生提升地理核心素养、教师探索地理学科育人价值有很大推动作用。

自接到竞赛通知起，肥东一中教科室认真研读文件、组织地理学科部积极备赛。高二地理组从学生素养培养到能力提升等各个方面做了详细的计划，认真辅导、全程指导。赛后，同学们纷纷开心地表示，将不断提升地理学科核心素养，继续探索天文地理之奥秘！
